The Five Senses - here the sense of sight. The mythical figure of Argus was covered in skin covered with hundreds of eyes, each watching over the wife of a jealous god. Only one set of eyes were closed at any time. Argus was killed and his eyes were strewn over the feathers of a peacock, which is how the peacock received its eyes.
